Sleeping Tree

This 11" x 14" oil on canvas panel painting is simple depiction of a dormant tree against the gray skies of winter. In time, the weather will warm, and the tree will grow again, reaching new heights. It reflects our own lives—moments that may feel still or frozen, yet are only temporary. Change comes, and with it, growth. We were simply at rest.
